About Koastle

Koastle, the indie-electronic duo from Orange County, is composed of longtime friends Andy Mueller and Brett Beaudette. Meeting during their college years, they connected through a shared admiration for artists like ODESZA and Flume, which became the foundation for their unique sound. Over the past decade, Koastle has meticulously crafted a vibrant blend of wonky future bass rhythms, shimmering synth textures, and emotionally charged, nostalgic melodies that balance uplifting energy with bittersweet undertones. Their music draws inspiration from electronic visionaries such as Porter Robinson, creating a soundscape that captures the evocative feelings of golden hour.

Koastle rose to prominence with breakthrough tracks like "Out of Bounds," "Hurricane," "Stay Close," and an acclaimed remix of Lorde’s "What Was That." Their work has amassed over 50 million streams across platforms and attracted praise from influential outlets including Lyrical Lemonade, Early Rising, and Fashionably Early.
