Corto.alto is an innovative future jazz producer and composer based in the southside of Glasgow, Scotland. Emerging from one of the UK’s most vibrant creative hubs, he has quickly carved out a distinctive voice by blending lush instrumentation with forward-thinking electronic elements. His music skillfully bridges traditional jazz sensibilities with contemporary production techniques, resulting in richly layered soundscapes that combine ambient textures, intricate rhythms, and soulful melodies.

Corto.alto first captured widespread attention with his debut album, "Bad With Names" (2023), which earned critical acclaim and a shortlist nomination for the prestigious 2024 Mercury Prize. This milestone highlighted his ability to push genre boundaries while maintaining an emotionally resonant and accessible sound.
