About Hardwell

Hardwell, born Robbert van de Corput, is a Dutch DJ and producer who rose to prominence during the explosive growth of electronic dance music (EDM) in the early 2010s. Inspired by the vibrant dance scenes he witnessed on MTV, he began DJing at the tender age of 13, quickly developing a talent for remixing and producing. His early work includes a 2006 remix of Underdog Project’s "Summer Jam" and a 2007 collaboration with Greatski titled "Never Knew Love."

Hardwell’s breakthrough came with his 2009 bootleg "Show Me Be" and gained further momentum through his Revealed mix series launched in 2010, which became instrumental in showcasing emerging talent and defining his brand. His career skyrocketed in 2011 following high-profile collaborations such as "Zero 76" with Tiësto and notable remixes for Avicii’s iconic "Levels," Dada Life, and Taio Cruz’s "Hangover." By 2012, Hardwell secured a spot in DJ Mag’s Top 10 and topped Billboard’s dance charts with his remixes of Rihanna’s "Where Have You Been" and The Wanted's "Chasing the Sun."

In 2013, he released the hit single "Three Triangles (Losing My Religion)" alongside continuing the successful Revealed series. His debut album, "United We Are" (2015), highlighted his energetic style and solidified his status as a leading EDM architect. Hardwell’s ongoing influence is marked by collaborations with Afrojack, Blasterjaxx, Craig David, Steve Aoki, and Wildstylez, among others. His continuous output, including the *Hardwell & Friends* EP series, sustains his reputation as a pivotal and enduring figure in electronic dance music worldwide.
