About Hazlett

Hazlett is a Swedish-Australian singer-songwriter celebrated for his emotionally raw and deeply authentic approach to music. Known as an introspective and romantic soul, he favors intimate connections over large social circles, reflecting a genuine desire to create meaningful bonds with his audience. His music blends indie-folk sensibilities with honest, heartfelt lyrics that explore vulnerability, imperfections, and the complexities of the human experience.

Hazlett’s creative process is fueled by a mix of admiration and envy toward fellow artists, driving his songwriting with both inspiration and a competitive edge. Embracing his self-described nature as an “emotional, stubborn, simple, romantic guy,” he openly acknowledges his flaws—crafting songs that resonate with listeners who seek sincerity over polished commercialism. Rather than chasing mainstream appeal, Hazlett prioritizes artistic integrity, using his platform to support others navigating personal challenges.

His candid and straightforward style has carved out a unique niche in today’s music landscape, appealing to fans who appreciate raw storytelling rooted in passion and authenticity. Hazlett remains connected to his audience through direct communication, fostering a rare closeness that reinforces the emotional core of his work. This commitment to honest expression ensures his music remains timeless, offering genuine emotional resonance beyond fleeting trends.
