About Wez Whynt

Wez Whynt has been a defining presence in London's soulful house scene for over twenty years, carving out a distinctive sound characterized by vocal-driven melodies and deeply soulful rhythms. His captivating style quickly garnered the attention of the city’s top promoters, earning him a coveted residency at Deep Secrets, one of London’s most celebrated house music nights. Throughout his career, Wez Whynt has performed at acclaimed events such as Gotta Have House, Viva la House, Sunday Soul, and Soul Fusion, consistently delivering vibrant sets that resonate with house music aficionados.

Beyond his DJing prowess, Wez Whynt co-founded the House Matters collective alongside Brother James and Micky Johnson, further influencing the evolution of contemporary soulful house. Since 2020, he has expanded his artistry into music production, releasing his debut single "Loves Taken Over" featuring Elle White. This was followed by "BodyHeat," a lively, soulful track produced in collaboration with respected vocalist Earl W Green. Both releases showcase his commitment to blending smooth, rich vocals with energetic house grooves.

In addition to live performances and production, Wez Whynt shares his signature sound weekly as a resident DJ on House Radio Digital, where his Saturday afternoon show from 12 pm to 2 pm connects with a broad audience. With a career built on passion and soulful expression, Wez Whynt remains a vital force in the house music world, continuously shaping its future with warmth and rhythm.
