About Andru

Andru is the captivating solo project of Andrea Martínez, a talented musician, producer, and composer rooted in the vibrant music scene of Mexico City. Emerging in early 2023, Andru introduced herself with the debut EP "lo haría todo de nuevo" (2023), a six-track collection that blends dreamy pop melodies with deeply personal Spanish lyrics. This evocative work explores themes of love and heartbreak through sweet, nostalgic soundscapes, showcasing her ability to merge intimate storytelling with atmospheric production.

Represented by the Norwegian label 777 MUSIC, known for supporting innovative artists, Andru has quickly gained recognition within the Latin American dream pop genre and beyond. Her sophisticated songwriting and unique sonic textures have not only resonated with listeners but also attracted international attention, expanding her presence on the global indie music stage. Currently, Andru is hard at work on her follow-up release, eagerly anticipated by fans and industry insiders alike. Through her emotionally rich compositions and refined production style, Andru continues to push creative boundaries, establishing herself as a compelling and authentic voice in contemporary Latin music.
