About Dorian

Dorian is one of the most internationally acclaimed bands emerging from Spain’s contemporary music scene. Founded in the early 2000s by Marc Gili, the band’s principal songwriter and lyricist, alongside Belly Hernández on piano, synthesizers, and string arrangements, bassist Bart Sanz—who also manages the band’s visual design and video production—and Lisandro Montes, who contributes keyboards, guitar, and co-production, Dorian has crafted a distinctive sound that fuses organic drums with electronic beats, layered over guitars and synthesizers. This unique blend has positioned them as a seminal act within Ibero-American music, earning a devoted following across Latin America and the United States.

Their songwriting prowess is reflected in timeless anthems such as "Cualquier otra parte," "La tormenta de arena," and "Los amigos que perdí," which have collectively surpassed 200 million streams. Dorian’s discography comprises six studio albums, a critically acclaimed acoustic project titled "Diez años y un día" (which reimagines their classics in intimate arrangements), and two live albums capturing dynamic performances at Spain’s Arenal Sound festival and the iconic Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. Continuously evolving, Dorian is slated to release a new album in autumn 2024, further cementing their reputation as one of the most prestigious and innovative voices in modern Spanish music.
