About KI/KI

Amsterdam-based electronic music artist KI/KI has rapidly established herself as a transformative force within the global dance scene. Emerging from the city’s vibrant underground queer venue Spielraum in 2018, she quickly carved out a distinctive sound that fuses acid techno, trance, and rave elements into a dynamic blend—both euphoric and dreamlike, futuristic yet warmly nostalgic. Known for creating immersive, intense dancefloor experiences, KI/KI’s magnetic presence has propelled her to headline legendary clubs like Berghain and Bassiani, alongside sold-out shows in arenas of up to 20,000 capacity.

Her impact extends beyond performance, making history as the first woman to win the prestigious Dutch Edisons Pop Award. KI/KI also gained international recognition as a Spotify Global Equal Ambassador, highlighting her commitment to equality and representation in electronic music. In 2022, she launched her own label, slash:, dedicated to showcasing her productions alongside emerging talents, reflecting her passion for cultivating new voices in the scene.
