About La Fúmiga

La Fúmiga is a dynamic Valencian band celebrated for their unique fusion of traditional brass band sounds with modern melodies, creating music that resonates deeply across generations. Rooted in the rich heritage of Valencian street bands, their infectious energy combines festive celebration with socially conscious lyrics exploring themes of love, friendship, connection to the land, and collective hope.

They debuted with the album "Espremedors" (2019, Halley Supernova), which included standout tracks like "Mediterrània" and the title song "Espremedors," instantly capturing regional and broader attention. Building on this momentum, La Fúmiga released the EP "Pròxima Parada" (2020), featuring the popular single "Havia de Passar," which showcased both their evolving sound and growing fanbase. Their sophomore album, "Fotosíntesi" (2021, Halley Records), marked a maturation in their artistry by blending their signature festive brass with a refined musical approach.

In 2024, La Fúmiga unveiled "Tot Està Per Fer," their most ambitious work to date, incorporating fresh electronic elements while emphasizing themes of community and friendship. This evolution solidifies their position as a leading force in contemporary Valencian music. Currently, the band is gearing up for the *L’Estiu d’Austràlia* tour, set for 2025, which will bring their vibrant, high-energy performances to major festivals and local celebrations across the Mediterranean, further expanding their influence and intercultural appeal.
