About Raga Boyz

Raga Boyz is a groundbreaking Sufi-rock band from Pakistan, formed by siblings Wali Hamid Ali Khan, Inam Ali Khan, and Nayab Ali Khan. As ninth-generation heirs of the esteemed Patiala Gharana, they carry forward a deep-rooted musical legacy established by their father, Ustad Hamid Ali Khan, blending centuries-old classical ragas with contemporary genres. Their unique sound combines traditional Sufi melodies, folk tunes, hard-driving rock, heavy metal, and innovative fusion, creating an electrifying and soulful musical experience.

Renowned for modernizing Eastern classical music without compromising its essence, Raga Boyz has captivated audiences across nearly eighteen countries. They have performed at iconic venues such as Wembley Arena in the UK and Radio City Music Hall in New York, sharing stages with global superstars like Shakira and Rihanna. Their talent and innovation have earned them numerous international awards in addition to the prestigious national honors bestowed on their family, including five National Awards and two Sitara-e-Imtiaz—the latter being one of Pakistan’s highest civilian accolades.

With their exceptional craftsmanship and commitment to honoring their heritage, Raga Boyz continues to redefine South Asian music for contemporary listeners. Their vibrant fusion not only bridges cultural and generational divides but also positions them as influential ambassadors of Pakistani artistry on the global music stage.
