About Jet

Jet, the Melbourne-based rock band formed in 2001 in Dingley, quickly rose to global prominence with their explosive debut album, "Get Born" (2003). Selling over 6.5 million copies worldwide, the album became a multi-platinum success, earning nearly 10x Platinum certification in Australia and Platinum status in both the US and UK. Packed with energetic rock anthems like "Are You Gonna Be My Girl," "Rollover DJ," and "Look What You’ve Done," Jet captured international attention and dominated charts. Notably, "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" and "Cold Hard Bitch" each reached number one on the US Modern Rock charts, solidifying the band’s reputation as leading figures in the 2000s rock revival. Their breakthrough earned them six ARIA Awards in 2004, highlighting their impact on the Australian music scene.

Jet’s follow-up album, "Shine On" (2006), continued showcasing their signature melodic rock sound with tracks such as "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is" and "Bring It On Back," achieving Platinum certification in Australia. After a period of hiatus, the band returned to the live stage in 2023, celebrating two decades of "Get Born" by performing it in full for the first time in five years. That same year, Jet was honored with induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame, cementing their legacy. Following successful tours across Italy, the UK, Ireland, and the USA in 2024, Jet is gearing up for an extensive North American tour in mid-2025 ahead of appearances at European summer festivals, much to the excitement of their dedicated fan base worldwide.
