About Hoobastank

Hoobastank, a multi-platinum alternative rock band hailing from California, has been a significant force in the rock scene since their formation in 1994. They gained widespread recognition and commercial success in the early 2000s, particularly with their breakthrough hit "The Reason," which earned them three Grammy nominations including Song of the Year and Best Rock Album. Known for their ability to blend powerful rock riffs with catchy pop sensibilities, Hoobastank established themselves as key players in alternative rock’s mainstream evolution.

Throughout their career, the band has continued to evolve musically. Their sixth studio album, *Push Pull* (2021), marks a creative renaissance led by producer Matt Wallace, famed for his work with Faith No More and Maroon 5. This album sees Hoobastank channeling the muscular, expansive sounds of ’80s and ’90s icons like U2, Tears for Fears, and Duran Duran, while incorporating fresh elements such as funky late-’90s R&B grooves.
