About Reggae Roast

Reggae Roast has become a seminal force in the revival of the UK reggae and dancehall scene, captivating a new generation of bass music lovers with their innovative fusion of sound system culture and conscious reggae vibes. Founded as a dynamic collective, Reggae Roast seamlessly integrates a record label, electrifying live events, and a state-of-the-art custom-built sound system known as "The Beast." This 52KW powerhouse delivers earth-shaking bass frequencies, redefining modern sound system performance and setting a new standard in audio engineering.

In 2020, Reggae Roast solidified their influence by teaming up with the legendary Trojan Records to release their debut album, "Turn Up The Heat." The album received widespread critical acclaim, extensive radio play—including praise from reggae icon David Rodigan—and amassed millions of streams across digital platforms. Through their celebrated London-based events, Reggae Roast has shared the stage with reggae legends such as The Wailers, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Sly and Robbie, Collie Budz, Mad Professor, and Rodigan himself, further cementing their role as key architects of the UK reggae renaissance.

Continuing to push musical and sonic boundaries, Reggae Roast is developing new material while inviting fans to immerse themselves in their vibrant sound system culture. Whether through recorded releases or live performances, Reggae Roast remains at the forefront of preserving reggae’s timeless messages and advancing the genre’s impact on contemporary music scenes worldwide.
