About REZZ

Isabelle Rezazadeh, better known as REZZ, is a Canadian electronic music producer and DJ celebrated for her distinct dark, hypnotic sound. Born in 1995 to a Ukrainian mother and Iranian father, she moved to Niagara Falls, Ontario, during her early childhood. Her passion for electronic dance music ignited in her teenage years, sparked by sneaking into Toronto nightclubs. REZZ began DJing at just 16 and quickly mastered music production through online tutorials, cultivating a minimal yet atmospheric style that soon caught the attention of industry giants like Skrillex and Deadmau5.

REZZ’s breakthrough came with the release of her *Insurrection* EP (2015) on Skrillex’s Nest label, followed by signing to Deadmau5’s renowned Mau5trap imprint. Her debut album, *Mass Manipulation* (2017), solidified her rising status in electronic music, earning her a Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year. Building on this success, she continued to innovate with *Certain Kind of Magic* (2018), featuring collaborations with Deathpact and Fytch, and the Juno-winning *Beyond the Senses* EP (2019). Her third album, *Spiral* (2021), included notable features such as PVRIS and Dove Cameron.

REZZ’s 2024 release, *Can You See Me?*, showcases collaborations with artists like Subtronics, Holly, and Digital Ethos, reinforcing her position as a pioneering force in modern electronic music. Known for blending moody basslines with precision, she stands out as a trailblazer among female producers and LGBTQ artists, continuously shaping the contemporary soundscape.
