About Every Time I Die

Every Time I Die, the dynamic rock quintet from Buffalo, New York, emerged in 1998 as a formidable force within hardcore punk and metalcore. Fusing the raw intensity of hardcore with the gritty soul of Southern rock, they crafted a signature sound marked by fierce energy and sardonic lyricism. This distinctive blend propelled them to underground acclaim, forging a loyal fanbase over their two-decade career.

Known for their anarchic live performances and tight-knit camaraderie, Every Time I Die consistently evolved their style without sacrificing authenticity. Their 2016 album "Low Teens" drew widespread critical praise, including recognition from Revolver as one of the best albums of the decade. Continuing this momentum, 2021’s "Radical," produced by Will Putney, delivered 16 tracks of blistering musicianship and raw emotion, featuring powerful anthems like "Post-Boredom" and "Planet Shit."

Throughout their career, Every Time I Die defied conventional paths by balancing impulsive creativity with sharp, poetic songwriting, distinguishing themselves as innovators rather than followers in the heavy music scene. Even as they stayed largely underground, the band's uncompromising vision and rebellious spirit cemented their legacy as trailblazers in hardcore punk and metalcore until their disbandment in 2022.
