About Mon cher Guy

Mon cher Guy is an innovative French indie dance and synth-pop artist who has swiftly carved a niche for herself since emerging from the underground electronic scene in 2022. Her music envelops listeners in a cosmic, phantasmagoric sonic universe that fuses cinematic spaghetti western motifs, 1970s film soundtrack influences, and new wave energy. Drawing from her background in equestrian performance, Mon cher Guy’s compositions pulse with galloping rhythms and dark, carnival-like atmospheres, uniquely highlighted by her inventive use of the clarinet.

Her 2024 EP, "Cowboy Circus," marked a significant milestone, introducing a richer sound palette and featuring collaborations with the band Les Clopes and a rising French pop artist. This release propelled her onto larger stages, including sold-out shows at le Pop-Up and performances at renowned venues such as Pitchfork, Rex Club, and Sucre in Lyon. Mon cher Guy’s compelling live sets have garnered critical acclaim, winning her the Mad Cool Talents competition in Madrid (2024) and a place in the Top 100 Ricard Live list for 2025.

By blending a striking electro-cowgirl persona with evocative storytelling and bold instrumental choices, Mon cher Guy continues to captivate audiences across France and beyond. Her evolving artistry promises to leave a lasting imprint on the contemporary electronic music landscape.
