About Martin Garrix

Martin Garrix, born Martijn Garritsen in May 1996 in the Netherlands, is one of the most remarkable talents in contemporary electronic music. His rapid rise from a 16-year-old fan attending Miami’s Ultra Music Festival to a global headliner just a year later marked the beginning of an extraordinary career. Garrix’s breakthrough came with the 2013 electro-house hit "Animals," a track that transformed the big-room EDM scene and drew the attention of top industry figures, including Scooter Braun, who signed him soon after.

By the age of 20, Garrix had been named the world’s No. 1 DJ by DJ Magazine, a reflection of his immense popularity and influence. Throughout his career, he has expertly blended high-energy dance beats with mainstream pop, expanding his artistic range. His collaborations span an impressive array of artists, from electronic legends like Tiësto—who served as a mentor—to pop superstars such as Usher, Ed Sheeran, and Dua Lipa.

Martin Garrix’s evolving sound showcases his versatility, moving beyond the pulsating energy of "Animals" to more emotionally driven anthems like "In the Name of Love" featuring Bebe Rexha and "Ocean" with Khalid. These tracks highlight his ability to fuse delicate melodies with powerful synths, making him a defining figure in both club circuits and global pop charts. Ultimately, Martin Garrix’s innovative approach and consistent success have cemented his legacy within the electronic music landscape.
