Discovered at an early age, his musical journey began with background vocals and songwriting, including the Top 40 hip-hop hit "Boy, I've Been Told." In 1991, he debuted with the album "When the Night Is Over," blending Latin hip-hop and featuring collaborations with legends like Tito Puente. However, it was with the 1993 release of "Otra Nota," produced by Sergio George, that Marc Anthony firmly established his salsa credentials.

Over the years, Anthony has released critically acclaimed albums such as "Todo a Su Tiempo" (1995) and the Grammy-winning "Contra la Corriente" (1997), cementing his status as salsa royalty. His 1999 self-titled English-language album propelled him into mainstream pop, highlighted by the hit single "I Need to Know," which reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100.
