About Tracey Nelson

Tracey Nelson, originally from Lawrence, Kansas, is a singer-songwriter who has made a compelling transition to the vibrant music scene of New York City. With a sound that blends introspective lyricism and raw authenticity, Nelson has crafted a distinctive voice within contemporary indie and alternative music. In 2026, Nelson released his debut full-length album, *Hercules* (2026), through K Records and Perennial. This pivotal release was co-produced by acclaimed collaborators MJ Lenderman and Colin Miller, whose combined influence helped to shape the album’s nuanced production and emotional depth. *Hercules* showcases Nelson’s ability to fuse personal storytelling with a captivating sonic landscape, positioning him as an artist to watch. Drawing on his Midwestern roots and new experiences from New York, Tracey Nelson continues to evolve creatively, earning growing recognition for his honest songwriting and fresh approach. As he builds on his debut and expands his reach, Nelson remains committed to pushing musical boundaries while staying grounded in the sincere, heartfelt qualities that first inspired his journey.
