About M2M

M2M is a Norwegian pop duo formed in 1999, consisting of singer-songwriters Marit Larsen and Marion Ravn. Emerging from Lørenskog, Norway, they quickly gained international recognition with their debut album *Shades of Purple* (1999), a vibrant collection of catchy melodies and distinctive harmonies that defined their sound. Their music, a blend of polished pop with heartfelt lyricism, resonated with a global audience, cementing M2M’s place in early 2000s pop music history.

Despite their relatively brief initial run—the duo disbanded in 2002—M2M left a lasting imprint with hits that showcased their seamless vocal chemistry and songwriting skills. Over two decades later, in 2024, Marit and Marion reunited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of *Shades of Purple* with the EP *Still in My Dreams*. This project featured reimagined versions of their beloved tracks, reflecting not only nostalgia but also their growth as artists. Remarkably, despite years apart, the duo’s vocal blend remained effortlessly harmonious—a testament to their enduring connection and “muscle memory,” as Marion describes it.

M2M’s comeback has been embraced by longtime fans and new listeners alike, highlighting the timeless appeal of their music and the lasting bond between these two voices that continue to captivate pop audiences worldwide.
