About Silverstein

Silverstein, a seminal Canadian post-hardcore band, has carved out a distinguished presence in rock music since their formation. Celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2025, the band marks this milestone with the release of an ambitious double album: "Antibloom" (February) and "Pink Moon" (August). These companion records showcase the band’s evolution, blending 25 years of musical growth into what Silverstein describes as "the absolute collection of our musical style." Crafted from 25 original demos and produced by Sam Guaiana at Fireside Sound in Joshua Tree, California, the albums exemplify the band’s dedication to innovation and artistic refinement.

Silverstein’s breakthrough came with the 2005 album "Discovering The Waterfront," a work widely regarded as a genre-defining classic in the post-hardcore scene. Their consistent output of critically acclaimed albums, including the Juno Award-nominated "A Beautiful Place To Drown" (2020), has cemented their reputation for blending intensity and dynamic melody. Frontman Shane Told’s vocal talent has been lauded by Alternative Press as one of the top five post-hardcore voices, contributing to the band’s distinctive sound.

Known for their electrifying live shows, Silverstein has shared stages with prominent acts such as Rise Against, Pierce The Veil, Good Charlotte, and Underoath. Their enduring appeal and influential legacy make Silverstein a vital and enduring force in contemporary rock and metal culture.
