About Bring Me the Horizon

Bring Me the Horizon is a British rock band formed in Sheffield in 2004, comprised of frontman Oliver Sykes, guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls, and keyboardist Jordan Fish. Initially rooted in the metalcore and deathcore scenes, the band quickly gained attention with their aggressive early releases, carving a name within heavy music circles. However, their sound has continually evolved, embracing alternative metal, electronic, and pop rock elements over time.

Their breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed album "Sempiternal" (2013), which marked a shift towards more melodic and electronic influences while retaining their heavy edge. This evolution continued with "That’s the Spirit" (2015), blending accessible hooks and atmospheric textures, and reached new creative heights on "amo" (2019), an album notable for its daring fusion of pop, alternative rock, and experimental sounds. Bring Me the Horizon’s ability to cross genre boundaries has earned them widespread recognition, including prestigious Brit and Kerrang! Awards.

Known for dynamic live performances and Oliver Sykes’ commanding stage presence, they have become festival headliners and stadium-fillers globally.
