About Foxy Shazam

Foxy Shazam is an electrifying rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, renowned for their genre-defying fusion of glam, alternative, and experimental rock. Founded in 2004, the group quickly gained recognition for their theatrical performances and flamboyant stage presence, which set them apart in the indie and alternative rock scenes. Their dynamic frontman, known for powerhouse vocals and charismatic energy, became a signature element that amplified the band’s unpredictable live shows, often featuring outlandish stunts and raw emotion.

Foxy Shazam’s discography includes several critically acclaimed albums, highlighted by their 2010 self-titled major label debut released through Sire Records. This album played a pivotal role in expanding their fanbase beyond regional circuits and securing their status within the broader alternative rock community. Over the years, they have also worked with notable labels such as I.R.S. Records and Ferret Music, showcasing their versatility across rock subgenres.

After a brief disbandment in 2014, Foxy Shazam reunited in 2020, reigniting their creative spark and continuing to push musical boundaries. With roots firmly planted in Ohio’s rich music culture, the band remains committed to delivering high-energy performances and innovative recordings that resist conventional rock standards, solidifying their lasting influence on the glam and alternative rock landscape.
