Courtney Barnett, a Melbourne-born singer-songwriter, has emerged as one of Australia’s most influential voices in indie rock. Known for her sharp, witty lyrics and distinctive guitar work, Barnett transforms everyday observations into compelling, relatable stories. She first gained critical acclaim with her 2013 release, "The Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas," which introduced her unique blend of millennial humor and introspective songwriting.

Barnett’s breakthrough came with her 2015 debut album, "Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit," a generational touchstone that earned her a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and cemented her international reputation.
