About Bacilos

Bacilos is a Pan-American band that originated in Miami during the late 1990s, quickly carving out a unique space in Latin music by blending traditional Latin folklore with rock and pop influences. This multicultural foundation helped them develop a rich, innovative sound that resonated with diverse audiences. Their distinctive style caught the attention of Warner Music Latina, leading to a record deal in 1999 that propelled them into the international spotlight.

Over a remarkable career spanning more than 27 years, Bacilos has released five studio albums, two compilations, and two EPs. They have crafted a collection of timeless hits such as "Caraluna," "Tabaco y Chanel," "Mi Primer Millón," "Por Hacerme el Bueno," and "Perderme Contigo," songs that have become anthems for multiple generations and are beloved across Latin America and beyond. Their enduring appeal is reflected in their nearly 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify, a testament to their relevance in today’s music scene.

Bacilos’ artistic excellence has earned them widespread critical acclaim, including five Latin Grammy Awards and one Grammy Award, firmly establishing them as influential figures in Latin pop and folk music. In 2023, they capped off the year with the "Toca Madera" tour, performing for enthusiastic audiences across the United States, Latin America, and Europe.
