About Sixx:A.M.

Sixx:A.M. is a dynamic hard rock trio that emerged from Los Angeles in 2007, uniting three accomplished musicians: Nikki Sixx, DJ Ashba, and James Michael. The band's name cleverly combines elements of their last names, reflecting the deep collaborative spirit that defines their music. Drawing from their rich individual backgrounds—Nikki Sixx notably from Mötley Crüe, among others—the trio has crafted a distinctive sound blending powerful, emotive lyrics with soaring melodies and hard rock intensity.

Sixx:A.M. gained widespread recognition with breakthrough singles like "Life Is Beautiful" and "Lies of the Beautiful People," tracks that have become staples on modern rock radio. Their discography includes five studio albums, beginning with the critically acclaimed "The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack" (2007), which chronicles Sixx’s personal struggles and recovery, followed by "This Is Gonna Hurt" (2011), "Modern Vintage" (2014), and the double release of "Prayers for the Damned" and "Prayers for the Blessed" (2016). Alongside these full-lengths, the band has released influential EPs such as "X-Mas in Hell" (2008) and "7" (2011), further cementing their status in contemporary rock.

With three albums reaching the US Billboard Top 20, Sixx:A.M. stands out for their authentic hard rock expression and the creative synergy between members.
