About The Corrs

The Corrs, a celebrated Irish sibling quartet from Dundalk, consists of Andrea (lead vocals, piano), Sharon (violin, piano, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, vocals), and Jim (guitar, piano, vocals). They rose to international fame with their 1995 debut album, "Forgiven Not Forgotten," which showcased their signature blend of traditional Celtic folk and contemporary pop rock. This distinctive fusion helped them connect with a wide audience and laid the foundation for a career that has sold over 40 million albums worldwide.

Their follow-up album, "Talk On Corners" (1997), became a monumental success, ranking as one of the UK’s best-selling albums of the 1990s. It returned to number one on the charts six times and even pushed their debut album back up to number two—an unusual feat in music history. Hits like "Dreams" and "What Can I Do" from this period solidified their place in pop and Celtic music alike.

Known for their graceful live performances, The Corrs have headlined prestigious events such as Nelson Mandela’s 86th birthday and Queen Elizabeth II’s Jubilee in 2002. Over the years, they’ve earned numerous Platinum certifications, BRIT Awards, and Grammy nominations. Their seventh studio album, "Jupiter Calling" (2017), produced by renowned T Bone Burnett, demonstrated their evolving artistry while maintaining the Celtic-infused pop that defines them.
