About A.A. WILLIAMS

A.A. Williams first captured international attention with her self-titled debut EP and a breakthrough performance at the prestigious Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands. This pivotal moment launched her into the global spotlight, leading to extensive tours alongside influential acts such as Cult of Luna, Explosions In The Sky, Russian Circles, Sleep Token, and The Sisters of Mercy. Beyond supporting roles, Williams has established herself as a compelling headliner, delivering unforgettable shows at iconic venues like London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall at the Southbank Centre.

Her distinctive sound blends folk-rooted melodies with rich, progressive heavy music textures—a fusion that defines her two critically acclaimed albums, "Forever Blue" (2020) and "As The Moon Rests" (2022). These works have solidified her reputation among a new wave of pioneering female vocalists in contemporary alternative music. Further affirming her artistic credibility, Williams recorded a memorable BBC session at the legendary Maida Vale Studios.

Demonstrating remarkable versatility, A.A. Williams has expanded her musical range through various projects. Notably, she collaborated with Japanese post-rock icons MONO on the single "Exit In Darkness." During the global pandemic, she released "Songs From Isolation," a covers collection that garnered praise from Robert Smith of The Cure and Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins. In 2021, Williams showcased her multi-instrumental talents and compositional depth with "arco," an ambitious reinterpretation of her debut EP featuring classical string arrangements.
