About PERARNAU IV

PERARNAU IV is a visionary electronic artist who has spent over two decades crafting a unique sonic identity rooted in the overlooked sounds of everyday life. Beginning his musical journey at age twelve, he was deeply influenced by the bold, experimental spirit of 1990s Warp Records. This early inspiration launched his passion for beat-making and set the foundation for his innovative approach to music production.

Blending global soundscapes with an electronic core, PERARNAU IV’s work channels a spectral presence that captures and transforms ambient noises into dynamic, thought-provoking compositions. His music often challenges the stifling effects of capitalism, using sound as a form of liberation and sociopolitical commentary.

Among his notable projects is MuchoNoirClub, an inventive live experience that converts concert halls into immersive clubs where PERARNAU IV performs alongside his peers in spontaneous, improvisational sessions teetering on the edge of chaos. Additionally, his domestic electronics project, _juno, highlights his versatile artistry.

PERARNAU IV’s production prowess gained critical acclaim through his work on Zahara’s album "puta" (2022), which won the prestigious MIN Award for Best Production. Through his relentless exploration of sound and concept, PERARNAU IV continues to push musical boundaries, transforming the cacophony of modern life into compelling electronic art that engages both the mind and the soul.
