About Doss

Doss is a New York-based producer and vocalist celebrated for her distinctive blend of euphoric trance, uplifting house, and atmospheric drum’n’bass, all woven into immersive dance-pop soundscapes that evoke the sensation of weightless flight. She emerged on the electronic music scene with her self-titled debut EP in 2014, released on Acéphale. This breakthrough featured airy, ecstatic tracks influenced by ’90s rave culture, including a forward-thinking “Hyperpop Remix” of the lead single “The Way I Feel,” anticipating the genre's mainstream breakthrough years later.

Early in her career, Doss gained attention through remixes of artists like How to Dress Well and Wildarms. She also showcased her collaborative spirit by contributing vocals to Ryan Hemsworth’s single “Surrounded” from his *Alone for the First Time* EP (2014). In 2018, she toured with the pioneering SOPHIE and later remixed SOPHIE’s “Whole New World,” further solidifying her presence within avant-garde electronic circles.

Doss’s influence extended to high-profile virtual showcases such as Porter Robinson’s Secret Sky festival and Lady Gaga’s online album release party in 2020. After a seven-year hiatus from solo releases, she returned in 2021 with the *4 New Hit Songs* EP via LuckyMe. This record marked an evolution in her sound, blending dream trance with shoegaze-inflected pop and reaffirming her role as an innovative architect of ethereal, daydream-worthy electronic music.
