About Los Estanques

Los Estanques is a dynamic Spanish band that has revitalized the progressive pop genre sung entirely in Spanish, a style often overlooked in contemporary music. Founded and led by Íñigo Bregel—who handles vocals and keyboards—the group includes Germán Herrero on guitar, Andrea Conti on drums, and Dani Pozo on bass. They burst onto the scene in 2017 with two albums, "Contiene Percal" and "II," both showcasing their signature blend of intricate melodies, sophisticated arrangements, and vibrant energy.

Throughout 2018, Los Estanques built momentum via extensive touring and standout performances at major Spanish festivals such as Sonorama, GetMAD!, Noroeste, Gigante, and Zaragoza Psych Fest. Their live reputation was further enhanced by participation in Radio 3’s famed Batalla de Bandas competition. The band’s self-titled album, "Los Estanques" (2019), solidified their place in Spain’s indie and psychedelic landscape, with highlights including "Clamando al Error" and "Deceso Inmortal."

Continuing to push boundaries, they released "IV" in July 2020, reinforcing their status as one of Spain’s most innovative and compelling acts. Combining vintage progressive pop sensibilities with a modern twist, Los Estanques remain a singular voice in Spanish music, captivating audiences with their artistic vision and captivating live shows. Their dedication to evolving the genre ensures their influence endures well beyond fleeting trends.
