About Arca

Arca is a visionary Venezuelan musician and producer who has redefined the landscape of contemporary electronic music. Born in Caracas, she first gained critical acclaim with the release of her groundbreaking EPs, "Stretch 1" and "Stretch 2" (2012), which showcased an innovative fusion of experimental noise, club beats, reggaetón, and the emotive ballad traditions rooted in her homeland. Her bold sonic experimentation transcends genres, blending avant-garde sound design with dancefloor energy and poignant emotional depth.

Over the years, Arca has emerged as a pivotal figure not only for her solo work but also through collaborations with renowned artists like Björk, Kanye West, and FKA twigs, significantly shaping the sound of modern music. Beyond her sonic achievements, Arca integrates performance art and visual storytelling into her craft, expanding the boundaries of what electronic music can express.
