About Mink

Berlin-based duo MINK has carved out a distinctive niche in the indie rock scene by blending retro influences with modern, atmospheric soundscapes. Combining urban and rural roots, the pair crafts music that oscillates between euphoria and melancholy, evoking the bittersweet journey home after a transformative night. Their critically acclaimed debut EP, "Plune" (2020), marked their arrival in Berlin’s vibrant music landscape and led to standout performances on renowned platforms like *radioeins Sommergarten* and *Fritz Unsigned*.

Building on this momentum, MINK made their international debut in Poland in 2021 and celebrated a sold-out show in Berlin the same year. Their sophomore EP, "Youth" (2022), deepened their presence within the indie underground and was supported by festival appearances at Meeresrausch and Wilde Möhre. The duo toured with notable acts such as The Slow Show, SIND, and Tristan Brusch, further expanding their audience. In 2023, MINK’s European tour included memorable stops in Amsterdam and Bratislava, where they opened for Tolstoys, alongside headline shows at Berlin’s planetarium and Vienna’s FluxBau. They also shared stages with L’Impératrice and Kakkmaddafakka, solidifying their status as an emerging force in indie music.

Currently exploring new creative avenues by composing for theater, MINK anticipates the release of their emotionally raw debut album, "Return To Sender" (2026). This forthcoming work promises an introspective, unsent love letter rich with doubt and vulnerability—an evolution of the evocative sound that has defined their career. With their growing international profile and increasingly bold artistic vision, MINK remains a compelling presence in contemporary indie music.
