About Lener

Lener is a 25-year-old musician whose rich musical upbringing and classical guitar training have shaped her distinctive sound. Before launching her solo career in early 2022, she spent a decade performing alongside her sister Sophie in the indie pop duo SweetLemon. Together, they released two albums, attracted over 200,000 monthly listeners on streaming platforms, and earned multiple newcomer awards through extensive live performances.

Transitioning to a solo artist allowed Lener to step into the spotlight with her own vocals, marked by a deep, candid voice tinged with subtle defiance. Her debut single, "It's Never Easy," quickly gained traction, securing placements on major Spotify playlists such as Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Indie, and Indie Brand New, amassing over 1.4 million saves collectively.

On December 1, 2023, Lener unveiled her debut EP, "Please Don’t," a five-track collection that highlights her artistic evolution. The EP blends jazzy influences with modern synth textures and contemporary beats, while retaining echoes of her classical roots. Tracks like "Text Me Again" and an intimate live session showcase her refreshing musical approach and fearless embrace of new sonic layers. With this release, Lener firmly establishes herself as a burgeoning solo talent, balancing introspective lyricism with an adventurous, modern sound.
