About Santiago Motorizado

Santiago Motorizado is the creative force and lead vocalist behind El mató a un policía motorizado, a seminal Argentine band that has become a cornerstone of Latin America's alternative rock scene in the 21st century. Originating from La Plata, Santiago has spent nearly two decades shaping the sound and spirit of contemporary Latin rock through his evocative songwriting and memorable melodies. His anthemic compositions often explore themes of friendship and emotional depth, resonating deeply with audiences across both the Americas and Europe.

Under Santiago’s guidance, El mató a un policía motorizado earned widespread acclaim, touring extensively with sold-out shows and performing at some of the world’s most prestigious music festivals. This sustained success solidified his position as a pivotal figure in the genre. More recently, Santiago Motorizado has expanded his artistic horizons by launching a solo career, which allows him to dive into new sonic landscapes and aesthetic approaches. While exploring diverse musical territories, he maintains the epic songwriting style that made his band a phenomenon, blending heartfelt storytelling with fresh textures.
