About DUDA BEAT

Duda Beat, born on October 8, 1987, in Recife, Brazil, has emerged as a standout voice in contemporary Brazilian pop, skillfully blending traditional Northeast rhythms with modern pop sensibilities. She burst onto the music scene with her debut album, "Sinto Muito" (2018), which quickly garnered critical acclaim and was recognized by Rolling Stone Brazil as one of the top ten national albums of the year. The record’s heartfelt lyrics and infectious melodies showcased her ability to balance emotional depth with vibrant Brazilian cultural elements.

Following her breakthrough, Duda Beat expanded her artistic footprint through collaborations with renowned artists such as Tiago Iorc, Gaby Amarantos, Lucas Santanna, Rashid, and the duo Anavitória, notably contributing to the popular track "Não Passa Vontade" (2020). In 2021, she released an EP with Nando Reis, featuring reimagined versions of both artists’ songs, further highlighting her versatility. That same year, an acoustic release with Zé Ibarra demonstrated her capacity to reinterpret her sound in intimate settings.

Her sophomore album, "Te Amo Lá Fora" (2022), deepened her exploration of love from a more mature perspective. The album made a strong commercial impact, with all eleven tracks charting on Spotify's Top 200, Tidal's Top 100, and Apple Music’s Top 100. Its release was celebrated with a prominent banner in New York’s Times Square as part of Spotify’s EQUAL initiative.
