About Orquesta Panorama

Orquesta Panorama is a distinguished Latin music ensemble known primarily for its influential role in the salsa scene since the 1980s. Founded in Caracas, Venezuela, the orchestra emerged during a vibrant period when Venezuelan salsa was asserting itself alongside Puerto Rico and Colombia as a dominant force in tropical music. With a masterful blend of traditional salsa rhythms and contemporary Venezuelan elements, Orquesta Panorama crafted a unique sound that resonated across Latin America.

Throughout their career, Orquesta Panorama has become celebrated for dynamic live performances marked by tight brass sections, rhythmic precision, and passionate vocals. Their extensive catalog includes numerous albums and hit singles that highlight the group's musical versatility and sophistication. These records have earned the orchestra a loyal fan base throughout Venezuela and neighboring countries, solidifying their reputation as key contributors to the nation’s rich salsa heritage.

While some confusion exists about their origins with references to Galicia, Spain, the most consistent and detailed accounts confirm their Venezuelan roots in Caracas. Over the decades, Orquesta Panorama has maintained its commitment to authentic salsa, influencing new generations of Latin musicians. Their enduring presence in festivals and major concerts underscores their lasting impact on salsa music, continuing to unite audiences through the universal language of vibrant rhythms and heartfelt performances.
