About Niñas Cochinas

Niñas Cochinas is a dynamic punk and neo-punk band emerging from Guadalajara, Mexico, known for their fierce feminist spirit and raw, energetic sound. The lineup includes Sof on drums, Yufis on bass and vocals, Qatzii on guitar and vocals, Trisia on guitar, and Karla contributing keyboards, guitar, and vocals. Taking strong inspiration from the Riot Grrrl movement, anarchism, and unapologetic femininity, Niñas Cochinas masterfully blend visceral screams, infectious choruses, and spoken word elements to create music that is both rebellious and irresistibly danceable.

The band burst onto the scene with their debut single, "Chica del Cajón," a powerful anthem addressing adolescence, traditional gender roles, and first relationships. This track challenges stereotypes of the obedient "perfect girl," celebrating female empowerment and everyday rebellion. Following this breakthrough, Niñas Cochinas sustained their momentum with compelling singles like "Nada" and "Man With A Gun," both available across digital platforms, further establishing their presence in Guadalajara’s vibrant local scene.
