About Tara Nome Doyle

Tara Nome Doyle is a Berlin-based singer-songwriter, composer, and producer of Norwegian-Irish descent, whose music intricately weaves psychological insight with folkloric mysticism. She first gained attention in 2018 with her debut single "Down with You," which amassed over six million streams, followed by the EP "Dandelion." In 2020, she released her conceptual debut album "Alchemy," co-produced with David Specht of Isolation Berlin. The album received critical acclaim, with SPIEGEL describing it as “like Kate Bush singing songs by Nick Cave at Berghain,” highlighting her unique blend of emotional depth and atmospheric soundscapes.

Her sophomore album, "Værmin" (2022), produced by Grammy winner Simon Goff, delved into Jungian themes of shadow and persona. This record earned praise from international outlets such as FAZ, Wonderland Magazine, CLASH, and Vogue Japan, solidifying her reputation as a compelling voice in contemporary music. After a two-year hiatus, Tara returned with the self-produced EP "Agape" (2024), an intimate exploration of grief and personal loss.

In April 2025, Tara Nome Doyle released her third studio album, "Ekko," via UK indie label FatCat Records. Drawing inspiration from the myth of Echo and Narcissus, the album offers thirty minutes of poignant, emotionally resonant storytelling. CLASH hailed it as “a luminous work of emotional excavation.” Expanding her artistic reach, Tara composed the award-winning score for the film "ROSE" (2026), directed by Markus Schleinzer and premiered at the Berlinale, further cementing her status as a multifaceted artist whose work seamlessly blends mystical beauty with profound emotional narratives.
