About Robin Phillips

Robin Phillips is a versatile artist celebrated for his skills as a singer, pianist, producer, and presenter. After a hiatus of more than twenty years from releasing original material, he reemerged in 2024 with a deeply personal album inspired by a transformative motorcycle journey from Chicago to New Orleans. This adventure not only reignited his creative spark but also became the foundation for his award-winning jazz and blues road-trip documentary, *Back To The Source*, which authentically explores the roots of American music.

Leading the return is the evocative single "Ode To NOLA," a heartfelt tribute to New Orleans that sets the tone for the album’s soulful and vibrant blend of storytelling and musicianship. Phillips masterfully weaves his extensive performance experience with the rich emotional landscapes encountered during his travels, bridging tradition and innovation in American jazz and blues. His ability to fuse narrative depth with compelling melodies continues to captivate both longtime fans and new audiences, solidifying Robin Phillips’s place as a significant figure in contemporary roots music.
