About Kapo

Juan David Loaiza Sepúlveda, widely known as Kapo, is a Colombian urban artist from Valle del Cauca who has significantly reshaped the Latin music landscape with his distinctive sound and emotive storytelling. Beginning his journey over fifteen years ago performing on streets and at gas stations, Kapo steadily honed his craft before bursting into international prominence with his breakthrough hits "OH NA NA" and "UWAIE." Both tracks earned multiple certifications—including platinum, gold, and diamond—and achieved remarkable global streaming milestones, with "UWAIE" surpassing 141 million streams within just three months. These singles also secured spots on Spotify’s Global Top 200, while "UWAIE" reached number one on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Airplay chart.

Kapo’s 2023 debut album, "Por Si Alguien Nos Escucha," further cemented his global appeal by reaching Spotify’s Top 10 Global Albums.
