About Prognoise

Prognoise is a progressive rock band originating from Porto Velho, Rondônia, Brazil, established in 2012. The group has distinguished itself by crafting intricate and dynamic soundscapes that seamlessly merge classic and contemporary prog influences. Drawing inspiration from iconic pioneers such as King Crimson, Rush, Genesis, and Porcupine Tree, as well as European prog legends Eloy and PFM, Prognoise also embraces the rich heritage of Brazilian progressive music through the legacy of Som Nosso de Cada Dia and Os Mutantes. Their music stands out by blending complex instrumental arrangements with elements of heavy and psychedelic textures, creating a vibrant tapestry that honors prog rock’s storied past while pushing its boundaries.

The lineup features Zeno Germano, who contributes vocals, guitars, and keyboards; Luciano Duarte on guitars; Marco Túlio Seixas driving the drums; Rodrigo Eduardo adding layered keyboards; and Alessandro Amorim anchoring the sound with bass and acoustic guitars. Together, they have cultivated a distinctive voice within Brazil’s progressive scene, showcasing technical prowess and a profound commitment to evolving the genre.
