Hailing from the windswept coastlines of the Netherlands, Ignez has crafted a distinctive niche in the electronic music world by channeling the hypnotic rhythms of nature into his sound. Growing up surrounded by endless dunes and the ceaseless pulse of ocean waves, he forged a unique artistic vision that defies conventional boundaries. Ignez first introduced his innovative sound through his own label, Somov Records, establishing a platform that reflects his uncompromising and deeply personal approach to music production. Beyond his imprint, he has left an indelible mark on respected labels such as Token and SK_eleven, where his releases have resonated with a global audience.

A highlight in Ignez’s career is his collaboration with acclaimed techno artist Rødhåd. Together, they produced two EPs that showcase a remarkable synergy and push the boundaries of contemporary techno.
