About FUMI

Tokyo-based music producer FUMI has been a driving force in Japan’s electronic dance music scene since 2017. He initially gained recognition as the creative force behind N_U_O, a residency at the iconic WOMB Tokyo club. What began as a vibrant party quickly evolved into one of Japan’s most influential dance music events, fueling the emergence of N_U_O RECORDS in 2020. This label embodies the forward-thinking spirit of the party, championing innovative electronic sounds and introducing fresh talent to the scene.

FUMI’s breakthrough year also saw the release of "Acid Film" (2020), a track that highlights his signature blend of heavy basslines and experimental textures. His dynamic production style has earned him opportunities to support internationally acclaimed artists such as Skrillex, Diplo, and The Chainsmokers during their Japan tours.
