Ecos de Siboney is a distinguished Cuban musical ensemble celebrated for its vibrant fusion of traditional Cuban rhythms and contemporary sounds. Founded in Santiago de Cuba, the birthplace of many Afro-Cuban musical forms, the group draws deeply from the island’s rich cultural heritage, particularly the genres of son cubano and trova. Named in homage to "Siboney," a classic Cuban song that also references the island’s indigenous Taíno roots, Ecos de Siboney embodies the essence of Cuban musical traditions while bringing fresh interpretations to timeless styles.
