About Raya Real

Raya Real, a vibrant flamenco and rumba ensemble originating from Seville in 1989, has established itself as a cornerstone of contemporary sevillana music over more than two decades. With a remarkable discography featuring 26 albums, the group has earned five gold records, along with platinum and double platinum certifications, reflecting their enduring popularity across Spain and South America. The ensemble’s current lineup boasts eight vocalists—four men and four women—supported by five skilled musicians who bring energy and authenticity to their lively performances.

Known for their infectious rhythms that blend traditional flamenco with festive rumba beats, Raya Real has become especially celebrated for their distinctive contributions to Andalusian Christmas music. Their repertoire includes both original holiday songs and flamenco-infused adaptations of classic villancicos, which have earned them invitations to high-profile television specials such as RTVE’s "Al son de la Navidad" and Canal Sur’s "Aguja Flamenca." Through their passionate performances and steady commitment to cultural roots, Raya Real continues to captivate audiences and serve as vibrant ambassadors of flamenco heritage, making them an essential presence in Spain’s musical landscape.
