About B0YG1RL

B0YG1RL is a Miami-based audiovisual project and band, co-led by filmmaker Angela Rio and composer June Vinette. Renowned for their innovative fusion of experimental electronic music and immersive multimedia artistry, B0YG1RL crafts a distinctive sound that melds psychedelic dance-pop with the vibrant regional rhythms of Miami bass, baile funk, Haitian konpas, and dembow. This eclectic blend reflects the multicultural heartbeat of Miami, creating rich, genre-defying soundscapes that stand out within contemporary experimental music.

Beyond their sonic identity, B0YG1RL is celebrated for their dynamic live shows and cinematic presentations, where Rio’s visual storytelling and Vinette’s inventive compositions merge to produce powerful sensory experiences. Their performances transcend traditional concerts, weaving together club culture, community engagement, and a vivid sense of place through immersive audiovisual environments. By exploring the intersection of rhythm, narrative, and locale, B0YG1RL pushes boundaries in both music and visual art, inviting audiences on a dreamlike journey that bridges sound and image.

This unique approach has established B0YG1RL as a pioneering force within experimental electronic circles, blending local influences with a broader cultural tapestry to redefine how music and visual media interact on stage and screen.
