About Valentino Kanzyani

Valentino Kanzyani is a seminal figure in the Slovenian electronic music landscape, hailed as one of the founding fathers of the country's vibrant techno scene. Born in Koper, Slovenia, he has built a reputation for his genre-defying style that fluidly bridges techno, house, and underground sounds. Kanzyani’s passion shines brightest behind the decks, where his exceptional skills as a vinyl DJ have earned him international acclaim.

In 2005, he took a pivotal step by founding the label Jesus Loved You, signaling a deliberate return from large-scale events to intimate underground settings. His dedication to musical evolution continued with the release of EPs in 2012, which led up to his debut artist album, "Love & Gratitude" (2013), showcasing his refined production talents honed through intense studio work between 2010 and 2013.

Beyond his solo projects, Valentino co-founded the Next Wave initiative in 2011, an Ibiza-based event series committed to championing the island’s underground music scene as a counterbalance to commercial club culture. His global tours, including extensive dates across South America, have solidified his status as a dynamic and boundary-pushing artist who consistently injects fresh energy into electronic music’s underground circuits.
