About Heavy Lungs

Heavy Lungs, a formidable force hailing from Bristol’s vibrant music scene, have earned acclaim for their fierce noise-punk sound and explosive live performances. Known for their relentless energy and abrasive guitar riffs, the band has carved out a loyal following among fans of intense, cathartic rock. Their music combines pounding rhythms with visceral aggression, creating a powerful, immersive experience that’s both raw and compelling.

In 2025, Heavy Lungs released their much-anticipated sophomore album, *Caviar*, through FatCat Records. Featuring eleven ferocious tracks, the album showcases the band's evolution—retaining their signature heaviness while exploring new layers of controlled chaos and melodic grit. *Caviar* captures the essence of Heavy Lungs’ sound: a wild, unyielding energy that invites repeated listens and cements their place in the contemporary punk landscape.

Throughout their career, Heavy Lungs have shared stages with notable acts such as IDLES, Oh Sees, and Metz, strengthening their reputation as one of the UK’s most vital underground rock bands. Their live shows are legendary for leaving audiences breathless and ears ringing—a testament to their raw intensity and passionate performance style. Touring extensively across the UK and Europe, Heavy Lungs continue to bring their distinctive, electrifying sound to a growing global audience, proving they are far more than just a “loud band from Bristol.”
