About Delore

Delore is a vibrant electropop band from the northern Netherlands, known for its sultry and atmospheric sound that blends dreamy pop vibes with an electrifying, late-night nightclub energy. Fronted by vocalist Liza Bloem, the band’s music explores themes of daily monotony, belonging, and reflective memories through introspective Dutch-language lyrics that strike a balance between emotional intimacy and danceable rhythms.

Originally grounded in acoustic guitar and bass, Delore’s sonic palette has evolved dramatically. Their 2021 debut EP, "Je hebt Het" (2021), showcases this transformation with sharp electric guitars and deep, pulsating synthesizers that capture a richer, electronic edge. The EP delves into the complexities of holding on to what shapes us while learning to let go, offering listeners a fresh and immersive experience.

Delore’s rise was marked by winning the Kleine Prijs van Fryslân in 2019, a significant milestone that paved the way for their participation in the Hit The North program at Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS). Collaborating with former Mister & Mississippi guitarist Danny van Tiggele and producers Martijn Groeneveld and Frans Hagenaars, they refined their distinctive electropop sound. The band has since performed at notable events like Bevrijdingsfestival Fryslân and ESNS, and supported artist Inge van Calkar on tour, steadily gaining attention for their captivating blend of dreamy atmospheres and energetic beats.

With their unique fusion of melodic electronic textures and heartfelt storytelling, Delore continues to carve out a distinct place in the Dutch music scene.
